Certified non profit and not for profit, natural disaster to
single family dwellings, accessibility improvements to single
family, and publicly funded projects are exempt from all permit
fees upon written request of an approved agent, and certification
of compliance .and eligibility
All replacement permits for non-start of construction will be
charged ½ of the then current permit fee schedule. All
construction must start within 6 months of the permit issuance
date and complete within one year. A one time 6 month extension
may be granted provided it is requested within the 30 day period
prior to the permits expiration date. There is no fe for this
one time, 6 month extension.
The Building Dept. is responsible for collecting a $ .04 per sq.
ft. Fire Dept. Inspection Permit Fee, based on all new residential,
commercial, and industrial buildings gross square footage to include
all floors and spaces under roof. It will be clearly identified
on your permit as such.
